Now working on an MBA at Northwestern Kellogg, he reflects on his growth in a family business.
The industry is shifting from traditional print to integrated consulting services like marketing, IT, and audiovisual solutions. Anthony prefers the term “workplace services provider” to reflect this broader scope. While print remains important, the focus is on innovative services.Anthony is optimistic about the company’s future growth and leadership development, recalling positive interactions with colleagues and crediting his father's incredible passion, integrity and enthusiasm in business and the success of Impact Networking. 45: From Analog to Digital: Nancy Lycan’s Journey in Imaging

On this episode of Next Week's Life, Mike welcomes Nancy Lycan, Chief Marketing Officer at DEX Imaging. Since 2002, she has been instrumental in shaping the company’s brand. Before DEX, she built a marketing department at DANKA during the imaging industry's digital transformation, guided by her mentor, Dan Doyle Sr, creating successful campaigns like the National Addy Award-winning "Some Things Just Can't Be Duplicated" campaign in 1992.
Two decades later, Dan Sr and his son, Dan Doyle Jr, formed DEX, where Nancy has once again helped to craft a nationally recognized brand. From digital content creation to staging live events, such as the Patriot Pack Ride from New Jersey to Florida in support of Veterans, the DEX brand is a reflection of the Doyle's vision of leadership in imaging & technology, emphasizing a family-oriented corporate culture and the very highest of industry standards.

40: The Life and Times of Frank Cannata! An Amazing Journey

This week on Next Week's Life, Mike welcome Frank Cannata. Frank has inspired many and has lived a lifetime of generosity for those in need. The son of Italian immigrants, Frank is the embodiment of the American Dream. Beginning as a Marine Corps officer, Frank transitioned into the copier industry, swiftly ascending to senior management roles at Apeco and Royal Business Machines. In 1979, he founded Marketing Research Consultants, aiding Japanese manufacturers entering the US market. He pioneered The Cannata Report, initially a newsletter, expanding it to include LIVE WIRE and the Annual Dealer Survey. With 42 years of industry expertise, he remains a stalwart in copier industry analysis, particularly focusing on the evolution towards managed services provision. Notably, his efforts extended beyond business, raising over $2.5 million for various charities like the V Foundation for Cancer Research, ChildHelp USA, Windows of Hope, Glide Foundation, Seton Hall University, Caltech University, St. Mary's College and Hackensack University Medical Center. Frank has also shown a lifelong commitment to supporting the Veteran community. He chats with Mike about the noble cause of raising money for the needy, as well as telling stories of a life in business.
